Adhesive foam hat inserts for adjusting a hat down to a smaller size.

This pack of 4 pieces is enough to reduce a cowboy hat down by a size or two.

Contains 4 pieces of open cell "sticky back" foam, each piece approximately 10cm long.

Before you remove the sticky back cover, start by doing a test, placing 1 piece at a time underneath the sweatband of the hat where it feel loosest. Some hats are more oval shaped and may feel snug at the sides but looser fitting at the back and front etc. Add more pieces and reposition them until the hat feels snug and comfortable. If you can shake your head around without the hat slipping, but it doesn"t feel uncomfortably tight then you"ve found the right balance.

It"s worth remembering too that in extreme heat your head will swell slightly which can cause a hat that is fitted too tightly to be very uncomfortable.
